Deer-Airplane Accident at Ann Arbor Muncipal Airport

SAMSUNGA deer ran into a plane as it was taking off at the Ann Arbor Municipal Airport on October 10th, around 8pm. Luckily no human was hurt, but the airport was shut down for awhile to clean it all up. The airplane was an Archer II #N2817X.

The airport at which the deer-plane collision occurred recently is located in Pittsfield Township, but the airport is owned and operated by the City of Ann Arbor.
